This is my friend Jo at her book launch on Saturday hosted by Briag Books.
This is her book! Did I tell you about her book? Oh yes, of course I did! Silly me. You can read about it here, here, also here… oh yeah and here! Oh! And looky over there in my sidebar, you can buy it there!
There were family who made the trip from Melbourne for the big occassion (and made yummy food for the launch devoured with gusto). A daughter Jodi, a sister Mary and a niece Tanya…
and a dog named Mack.
Of course there were the hard working sales crew Sandra and Jo’s main man Ryan.
(Just for the record I am drinking tea people… responsibilities to be upheld… and being supervised by that owl was a bit unnerving)
There was lots of book signing going on!
And maybe a little toasting going on (yes, I said a little!)
Briag Book Shop owner Be and book lovers Sarah and Jenny.
Beautiful friends dropped by… hi there Belinda! (Insert me waving madly)
Ryan got this cheeky face happening… and he was drinking water!!!
Mary took this lovely photo of the stunning Jodi with her beautiful mother.
And Jodi took this great shot of two amazing people I know.
I am so happy for this lady, my earth angel, and so grateful and privileged to have her in my life. She has laughed with me till turning blue, held me, fed me, laid in a hospital bed with me, supported me, cared for me, spoken for me, cried tears for me when I could cry no more, cooked for me, cared for my husband for me, taught me much, and loved me for who I am… oh, and cleaned out my freezers for me when I was sick… and tackled my oven… what more could you want in a friend I ask you!
Thanks so much to everyone who came to support and celebrate Jo’s personal life journey that has resulted in this hard copy of her life changing transformation “A Written Journey into Meditation”.
Photo’s courtesy of the gorgeous Jodi Parker.
I see why you call Josephine your earth angel 🙂
It is great she has a book published….yay!!!
She is a gem Linda! Xx
Now don’t forget people that this lovely lady played a big part in this book by reading and re reading the revisions. I then had the priviledge of Sandra writing my introduction to my book. She is a very special lady who climbs mountains all the time and it is a pleasure to offer support when I can.
Thank you again my soul sister
Love always Jo
Awww, thanks Jo! Hugs Xx
What a beautiful angel you have and she you. It looks like you guys had the best time, even if you were drinking tea. I’ll pop a bottle of bubbles for you tonight to celebrate. Congrats to all x
Oooooh bubbles! Thanks Sarah! It was a lovely afternoon. 🙂 x
What a beautiful post! I feel just the same about my gorgeous friend Naomi and her book! I have reviewed it on my blog just the once so far but I’m sure there will be another post soon as we are about to attend another book reading/signing with her on the weekend. Isn’t it just the most wonderful feeling when our friends manifest such success 🙂
You are so right Rachel! It’s such a beautiful experience to be along for the ride. 🙂
Great to celebrate the huge amount of effort and will that goes into getting a book published, well done to your friend – it looks great.
