This month I am hanging out with some awesome friendly people learning lots and lots about blogging from Pip at Meet Me At Mikes.
I believe Pip is yet to realise the challenge she has on her hands teaching me the techy stuff!
Poor girl… yes, please feel sorry for her in advance… send her emails full of empathy, virtual back patting and tissues… she’ll need all the cyber strength she can get where teaching me is concerned. Lot’s of forehead slapping will be done.
Today I am sharing Pip’s Taking Stock Post idea (with permission of course).
Pip has this to say about taking stock…
Every so often on my blog I like to stop and think about where I am and what I’m doing. I record all of this in a Taking Stock post – changing the prompts and sharing the blank list too, so readers can do their own list if they want to. It’s interesting how a list can really sum up where things sit, especially a list like this.
I love this idea! I see it as a useful therapeutic tool or something you can just have some fun with… or maybe both at the same time!
I don’t think we should ever underestimate the power of words. Seriously, if you use this list as an opportunity to see where things sit, as Pip suggests, I believe you may just be a little surprised by what you find staring back at you on the page… in a thought provoking helpful way.
So here’s my stab at the list…
