Sorry Folks and Some Home Lovin Porn

July 17, 2016 By Sandra 18 Comments

Sorry Folks

Well, I’m terribly sorry if you have stopped by today for the next episode of Soft Places and Honest Spaces.

I made an executive decision at the last-minute to do a rewrite of Part 3 that was due to go live today.  I’m terribly sorry to disappoint you – I really dislike disappointing you.  This series is very important to me and I won’t put anything out there that is not sitting well with me.  I’m pretty anal like that.

It can take me in excess of 6 hours to write and create a post that I’m happy with at the best of times so you can imagine how much time I have spent writing, editing, rubbing my brow, re-writing, editing, chewing my fingernails, re-writing and editing each part of this series… think you might have the picture.

So I really hope you will forgive me and come back to visit next Sunday.

Just so you don’t leave completely disheartened as you sip your latte and wait for the pancakes to cool that the hubby and kids made you for breakfast in bed (yeah, I know, I’m ridiculously funny) I thought I’d share some ‘Home Lovin’ and ‘Home Office’ pics I have been drooling over.

I commented to Kirsten of Kirsten and Co how much I loved her new home office makeover which led to Kirsten sharing a link to the before pics which led to links of her Pinterest Boards which led to me falling head over heals in love with Pinterest.

Yes, you may go ahead and laugh because I have been sooooooo awfully slow to fall in love with Pinterest – dinosaur slow.

Isn’t Kirsten’s office just divine!

KIRSTEN AND CO HOME OFFICE REVEALKIRSTEN AND CO HOME OFFICE REVEAL

I’ve had a half-hearted play with Pinterest over the last few years but failed to get all gooey eyed over it… until now.  Thank. you. Kirsten.  Also, getting lost in all that prettiness has kept me awake while watching Le Tour De France the last few nights.  There’s something hypnotic about those pedals going around and around that sends me off to la la land and I miss all the beautiful scenery so my love fest with pin-worthy images is serving me well.

I’m in the middle of shaking my place up, changing rooms and de-cluttering so this new love affair with Pinterest is certainly keeping my enthusiasm up.

Check out what I have been drooling over.   Just pretend I know what I am doing and have created a sigh worthy pic collage for you to feast your eyes on, okay!

Blue and White Bedroom

Cottage Rose Climber

Cream and White Bedroom

Grey and White Office

Living Room Office

Country Office

Do you think I might like blue, white and grey?

Dreamy bedrooms, rambling roses over old cottages and pretty writing spaces certainly have me all gooey eyed.

I seriously need help with people to follow on Pinterest and any other pointers you might be able share with me so leave your Pinterest details in the comments and I’ll be over to follow you. I also seriously need to learn how to use Pic Collage.  Hit me with your suggestions.

Thanks for being so understanding about the Soft Places and Honest Spaces Part 3 re-write.  I’ll have it live for next Sunday.

Till then, stay safe now.  Xx

Are you head over heals for Pinterest?

Who is your favourite person to follow?

Do you use Pic Collage?

Are you watching Le Tour De France?

Tell me all…

How GOOD is Pinterest?! I am completely and utterly addicted to it and have been known to spend HOURS scrolling though it looking for ideas and inspiration. Thank you so much for featuring my office on your lovely blog and I apologise in advance for any stiffness in your hands and fingers you are more than likely to suffer from in the weeks and months ahead now that you’ve discovered Pinterest! xox

Oh my god my hands and fingers HAVE been stiff and a little painful, lol! Think I have RSI already. Not game to complain to Doug. You have inspired me to get my act together and create a dedicated space for myself. I see many more hours of Pinterest drooling in my future. Thanks so much for stopping by Kirsten. 🙂 Xx

You start looking at your home through different eyes once you have been hooked by Pinterest don’t you? Then the dollar signs start to flash before my eyes so I grab a pair of blinkers to put on instead. Thanks for stopping by Anne. 🙂 Xx

It’s WAY better to publish the right piece lovely. And Kirsten’s office is totally divine and it makes me feel like I’m in a magazine house when I’m there. LOVE. Have a great week ahead xx

Yeah, it just wasn’t sitting right Em, thank you. Oh you would definitely feel like you are in a magazine house if her office is a reflection of the rest of Kirsten’s home. It looks so cosy and friendly though – some of those homes in the mags look like they are not homely or lived in. Kirsten’s looks very warm and inviting. Thanks for stopping by Em. 🙂 Xx

Goodness what a beautiful office space Kirsten has! I am glad you posted this because I got to look at all the pretty pictures and also to meet Kirsten (well discover her tonight!) My ex-brother in law has IH and until reading Kirsten’s about me just then he was the only person I knew with it! Off to discover more about Kirsten and to dream about pretty spaces!
