I’ve decided to shelve Sunday Suckables and Silver Linings for now because… well… let’s face it! I am hardly reliable these days and that’s a BIG suckable for me.
It’s kind of like saying I am going to show up at your place for a cuppa and a vent sesh followed by some uplifting and engaging conversation revelations and one week I show up and the next I don’t.
Unreliable much! I dislike being unreliable… I dislike it very very much. In fact, it sucks!
I’m still finding my way and testing the waters with this writing thing and so I assume if something isn’t working for me then it’s probably not floating your boat either… and I’d really like to contribute to keeping your boat afloat… and just to demonstrate that I am all for floating your boat, even at my own expense, I’ll share with you that I just wrote “and I’d really like to contribute to keeping your float aboat” and I went all red and hot and sweaty because you see I like to write/speak like you are really sitting here with me.
Hot flushed cheeks subsiding… pretty happy you can’t really see me right now!
I still believe strongly in the concept that birthed this baby here on a Sunday. You can read about it here if you have no idea what I am rambling about.
I am aiming to get myself into a rhythm of posting from the lucky dip that is my mind once a week on good old hump day (Wednesday) and who knows? I just may surprise you with a random post in between every now and again! Whooopie, I hear you say.
Wherever you are and whatever you may doing this Sunday I hope it’s filling your heart with joy!
I stopped for a moment this arvo to enjoy this sight from our back veranda that my sadly lacking photography skills do no justice to at all.
This is the Maiden Hair tree my Mum planted in our backyard with its’ autumn glow on and the storm clouds hanging over the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in the back ground.
Love where I live.
Till next time (hopefully Wednesday… hang on a tick… maybe Thursday might be a better day? Or Monday to give you some procrastination down time for the Monday blues… oh… gee… tell you what… don’t put the kettle on until you hear me coming up the drive okay?)
A friend gave me a cup once with this verse written on it…
I love that pic, such a beautiful view, even more so that your mum planted it.
I love hearing your updates, stories and thoughts, whatever day they happen to appear. I’ve got you in my inbox, so I’ll know when to put that cuppa on.
Have a fabulous day lovely lady. x
Awww Sarah you are too kind. Thanks for being a big supporter of my blog. Hugs to you 🙂 Xx
You crack me up Sandra! A mantra I am working on – Do What Matters!!!! (add to that whichever particular the day of the week floats your boat) 🙂
Glad you had a giggle Majella. 😉 “Do what matters” Sounds good to me.
Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Xx
